How does it open?

Will it fit at the top of stairs?
It can be fitted at the top of a stairway, and the fixings must go into something solid when it is. A gate at the top of stairs is holding a fall, so fix it to studs or masonry, never to plasterboard alone.

Can a big dog get through it?
