Privacy Policy

This policy covers petbarrier.net, which is operated by Pet Barrier Company. It says what we collect, why, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, delivery address, email address and, if you give one, a phone number. We need these to ship the order and to email you about it.
- When you pay: nothing. Card details are entered on our payment provider's own form and never reach this website or our servers.
- When you contact us: whatever you put in the message, plus your email address so we can reply.
- When you browse: anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics, and the technical request data any web server records.
Who processes it, and what for
- Stripe and PayPal take the payment. They receive the amount, the currency and your payment details, which they hold, not us.
- Resend sends your order confirmation and shipping emails.
- Vercel hosts this site and Cloudflare serves it and routes our email.
- Supabase stores the order record our warehouse picks from.
- Google Analytics gives us anonymous traffic statistics.
- IntellextAI runs the chat widget, where one is shown.
- 17TRACK looks up a tracking code when you enter one on the Track Your Parcel page.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep your basket between pages and to measure traffic. See the Cookie Policy for the detail and for how to turn the optional ones off.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and warranty purposes. Contact messages are kept while the question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained by Google under its own schedule.
Your choices
Email theteam@petbarrier.net and you can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will keep only what we are required to keep for legal, tax or security reasons, and we will tell you what that is. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under your state's privacy law, and we apply this policy to everyone regardless.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top of the page.
